(HEBRON, Conn.)-The Quinnipiac University Bobcats Golf team finished 4th out of 7 teams at the season-opening Trinity College Invitational, held at the Blackledge Golf Course last weekend. Nichols College won the tournament with a score of 603 while the Bobcats shot a two-day team score of 619.
Shooting the best two-day individual score for the Bobcats in their first event of the fall was Ben Cook who shot a 154. He was followed by Jayson Loranger who shot a 36-hole score of 155. Next was Ryerson Stinson and Charlie Niland, who both shot a 156. Ryan Reynolds had a 157 and Ian O’Connor a 166.
Following Nichols in the team competition was Babson College with Trinity close behind in third. Next up in the fall season for Quinnipiac is this Friday and Saturday at the Rutgers Tournament, held at the Rutgers University Golf Course in Piscataway, NJ.
