Bobcats Place Tenth at the ECAC Championships

      (HAMDEN, Conn). The Quinnipiac University Men’s golf team finished in a tie for 10th last weekend at the ECAC Championships. They shot a 3-day team score of 934. Yale University won the tournament with a score of 892. They were followed by Columbia with 893 and Bucknell with 896.

      Individually the Bobcats were led once again by Brady Giroux, who finished in a tie for 25th among 68 players with a 54-hole score of 230. He was followed by Captain Ian O’Connor who shot a 232, Charlie Niland with 236, Ben Cooke with 240 and Ryan Reynolds with 248. Individually, the Championship was won by Ben Wescoe of Yale who shot a 3-day score of 217.

      The Men’s golf team continues their play this weekend, October 19 and 20, with the New England Intercollegiate Golf Association Championship at the Captains Golf Course, which is located in Brewster, Mass.
