Brett Gross is a senior broadcast journalism major with a sports studies minor at Quinnipiac University.
He is a die-hard Philadelphia sports fan, following the Phillies, Eagles, Flyers, Sixers and Penn State Football. During the summer, Brett works as a video coaching scout for the Philadelphia Phillies, where he prepares in-depth scouting reports to players and coaches.
A 2005 graduate of Woodlynde School in Stratford, Pa., Brett played four years of high school basketball, earned a varsity letter in tennis and was an all-star roller hockey player.
Brett runs his own disc-jockey company in Philadelphia called Brett Gross Entertainment where he performs at Bar/Bat Mitzvahs as well as sweet 16’s and dances.
In the past, Brett has worked as an intern with Sports Radio 610 WIP in Philadelphia, the Bridgeport Soundtigers and uclaradio.com in Los Angeles.
Brett enjoys traveling and has been to 30 of the 50 states in the U.S. including Hawaii twice and Alaska. He has also been to four different countries.
Brett can be heard on the Bobcat Sports Network Presented by WQAQ as the play-by-play voice for Quinnipiac Men’s Ice Hockey, Baseball as well as Men’s and Women’s Basketball. Brett hosts Overtime with Sal Accardi on Tuesday’s from 2-4 p.m. on 98.1 WQAQ.
Brett resides in Maple Glen, Pa., with his mother Nancy, father Alan and brother Jared.
