Kevin Lo is a junior broadcast journalism major with a minor in interactive digital design at Quinnipiac University. He is currently in his third semester broadcasting, writing and field producing for the Sports Department at WQAQ.
In the spring of 2009, Kevin was WQAQ’s beat reporter for men’s basketball, as well as women’s tennis. In the fall of 2008, he wrote for the women’s basketball team and partook in several volleyball, basketball, baseball and softball broadcasts.
Aside from WQAQ, Kevin is a writer for The Chronicle’s arts and entertainment section, and hosts two radio shows on WQAQ.
Kevin is part of “The Bountiful Butto Sports Banaza” team, home of the award-winning obscure sports segment. He also hosts a hip-hop show on the weekends to save students from listening to terrible college alternative music.
The sky is the limit for this young, multitalented, hard-working writer and broadcaster.
Kevin resides in Marlboro, NJ., with his mother Bonnie, father Brian and brother Adam.
In his spare time Kevin can be found playing the ever popular Magic: The Gathering card game and video game. Kevin is currently ranked 256,098th in online competition. He also enjoys paling around with his pet hamster, Gino, and watching re-runs of Degrassi.
